howdy y’all.  monday morning blues OOOOH NOOO.  anyway, here’s soemthing i wondered abt in the past that has recently resurfaced in my mind.  as my friend put it “the way guys are mean to each other when they play sports is how girls are mean to each other all the time”  i can see some truth to that.  so anyway today, lets explore:

why are girls fake friends to girls they dont really like where guys are just okay with not being friends?  guys, have you ever been in situations where you faked a friendship with a guy?  if so, how/why?

oooh yeah party peoples.  let’s get over the wednesday hump with some good discussion hopefully.  so last question.  your currently dating someone means you have no rights to your exes.  as for scenario 2, do u thiknplayer hansbbans is gonna be happy with a 6 out of 10.  in the words of one wise brother, FOX THAT.  players gotta stay true.  break up with the six and let go girl of that girl in the past too.

as an aside, friends that would ask out your ex, seriously what’s up with that?  wheres the guy manners?  in the same way, that guy in love actually who does the posterboard thing, whats up homey?  you better not be doing crap like that on the future mrs. cho or else you will be getting hot knives shoved in your stomach.  seriously son, thats just messed up.  GUY ETTIQUITE PEOPLE.  SERIOUSLY!.

ok sorry for that rant.  on to the SCENARIO

choose between:

a.

you are exiled to a tropic island for five years.  on the island with you will be your five favorite people in the world.  however you will have nothing else.  also, over the period of the five years, you are told that at least one and possibly all five of your friends will die on the island.

b.

you are exiled to a tropic island for five years. on the island with you will be the five people in the world who annoy you/you cant stand the most.  you will be forced to interact with these people for 6 hours each day.  however, on the island you will also be living in a mansion with full internet, tv, etc as well as a personal chef.  basically a luxury resort.  also, there will be no hope that your feelings for the peopel will change over the course of the five years.

c.

you will be incarcerated in a minimum security prison for five years.  in prison there is no chance you will be raped, but you will see other prisoners getting raped.  you will also not be able to form any meaningful friendships over the course of your five years.  also, when you leave prison, it will be on your record that you are a sexual offender, thus affecting the rest of your life.

hello to the fifteen people who read this blog. thanks so much!!! anyway to answer cheryl’s question i will from now on answer the questions. so for me personally, no way i look at this spreadsheet. having been a master at working the gossip mill in college and then turning away from that kinda life post college, i gotta say that ignorance is bliss. the people who i care about will tell me what they need me to tell them. oh baby.

SCENARIO

suppose you are dating someone for two years and you are 80% sure that you want to marry this person at which point they break up with you. You dont date anyone for one year and then you start seeing a new person for 3 months. At this point, a good friend who you would have no qualms being totally honest with approaches you and asks you if they can pursue your ex.

Question 1:

Does your current relationship mean that you give up any right that you have to tell your friend that you dont want him to pursue your ex?

Questoin 2:

lets say that your friend asking you if it would be ok to pursue your ex makes you realize that you still haven’t gotten over your ex. would the realization of your feelings prompt you to break up your current relationship and try to pursue your ex again or would you rather just let bygone be bygones and so on and so on? lets say in terms of desirability to marry your ex is a 10/10 while your current flame is a 6/10.

suppose i were to offer you an excel spread sheet. this spreadsheet has everyone in your social network and tells you the exact details of their relationship life. it says everyone of the opposite gender that they have liked currently or in the past, as well as the duration of time they were interested and the level of intensity of their friendships. this sheet will also detail all of their same sex friendships and their level of intensity(essentially revealing any fake friendships this person may seem to have). would you want to look at this sheet? again please state your reasons, thanks for playing come again!!!

so for the fellas out there, in a dating context, would you rather be seen by girls as a player or a totally effeminate guy(essentially  a girl)?  ladies, would you rather be dating someone seen as a player or someone who is essentially a girly man.

for those of you who chose the player, what if you were seen as a pervert instead of a player?  as someone stated to me: 99% of guys are perverts.  Agreed.  so our level of perversion is such that other guys will look you and be like, man that guy is a perv.

which person would you rather go out with. someone who has dated one person over 4 years or someone who has dated 3 people over teh same 4 years. assume:

1. they are of equal attractiveness

2. they have ended their last relationship one year ago

3. you have no idea who broke up with who or how long each relationship was.
